Danita G.
Private tutor in Rio Linda, CA
Education
I have a B.S. Degree in Mathematics & Statistics from California State University, Chico in 2008. Besides CSU, Chico, I've also attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, as well as the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and several community colleges throughout California.
Experience
I've tutored for as long as I can remember. I've always helped out and led groups. At 14, I tutored college students in Algebra, and helped several people studying for the ASVAB. I was 16 when I took the SAT: 580 Verbal, 730 Math. I love math. I'm good at math. People have always come to me for help, and their skills have always improved. I am determined to expand as a professional tutor, and am looking not only for individuals to tutor regularly, but I am also very happy to help on a one time basis. My goal with University Tutor is to gather several new students to help improve their math and statistics skills. Besides math and statistics, I've completed almost every science, physics and engineering course available, and feel comfortable providing assistance in many fields.

Hobbies
Well, besides loving math, statistics, physics and engineering, I'm crazy about dogs, kids, the elderly, crafting, sewing, costuming, cooking, reading, and on and on. I'm pretty multi-talented and I'm comfortable trying almost anything just for the sake of learning. I have four dogs, 6 turkeys, 14 ducks, 3 chickens, and a large vegetable garden (winter garden soon to be planted). I have no children of my own, but I have no shame in spoiling the neighborhood children with games and crafts. On a typical weekday afternoon, I have 1-3 kids working on homework, and 3-6 kids playing.
